Change of surname and your Polish licence: 30 days to replace it

A new surname means a new licence. The law gives you 30 days.

In short

After a change of surname or other details you apply to replace your licence within 30 days. The fee is 100.50 zł and production takes up to 9 working days. You can apply at the urząd or online via info-car.pl.

Deadline

30 days from the change of details. Polish licences don't show an address, so moving house doesn't require a new one.
