We exchange foreign driving licences for Polish ones and arrange duplicates and replacements of Polish licences: we check your documents, prepare the application, file it at the urząd and collect the finished licence. Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and other countries.

01How long can I drive in Poland on a foreign licence?
A licence from a non-EU country is valid in Poland for 6 months from the start of your residence; after that you need a Polish one. The exception is a Ukrainian licence held with UKR status: it is recognised while temporary protection lasts (currently until 4.03.2027).
02Do I have to take an exam to exchange it?
Usually not, if the licence was issued by a country that signed the Vienna (1968) or Geneva (1949) convention, such as Ukraine or Belarus. A theory exam at WORD is needed only if the country is not party to these conventions.
03How much does the exchange cost?
The fee for a Polish licence is 100.50 zł (an increase is planned for 2026 — we'll check the exact amount on the day of filing). The sworn translation is extra. Our service is from 800 zł.
04How long does it take to get a Polish licence?
Production takes up to 9 working days, but first the urząd verifies your licence with the issuing country. For non-EU countries this takes from a few weeks to a few months.
05Do I get my foreign licence back?
No. After the exchange the urząd keeps the foreign licence and sends it back to the issuing country. Make a copy before you apply.
06I've lost my Polish licence — what now?
Report the loss to the urząd (or to the police if it was stolen) and apply for a duplicate within 30 days. Since 2020 you don't have to carry your licence — the police check it in the database.
